About Laura

Laura Baluta is a Psychologist and Psychotherapist with an interest in healing, overcoming anxious thinking and self development. She has more than 16 years experience in Mental Health and has worked with adults, teenagers, children, couples and families on a range of issues such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, bereavement, divorce, and eating disorders.

Her particular interest is in offering support to women and mothers to improve their emotional and psychological well being.

She completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Psychology in 2008 followed by a Master in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2010. Her training as a Psychotherapist helped her understand that we don't need to avoid and fear our emotions and feelings, but identify and discuss them.

She has always been compelled to help people, choosing to become a Psychotherapist when she acknowledged that her mission is to be of help to others and join them in accomplishing healing.

We all have the ability to heal ourselves, however, our strong emotions and feelings as reaction to external events is blocking the access to reaching that part within us, responsible with healing. Laura is here to help you identify and discuss them so that you will achieve healing and well being.
